**** the gallery @ arteology **** is situated in Pendle, in the beautiful old market town of Colne.

Visit Pendle’s most exciting art gallery and be quietly surprised at what a hidden gem of a place you have come across. Situated on the town’s popular main thoroughfare Albert Road occupying the group floor of 113 West End Buildings, built in 1906 and originally used as a Baptist chapel.

David and Lesley, the current owners, have over the past eight years developed the business from what was known locally as ‘the picture framers’ into a delightful and spacious contemporary art gallery. The main focus is to showcase high quality, original, northern, contemporary art and signed limited editions created and produced by the region’s best artists at affordable prices.

the gallery @ arteology are able to offer the opportunity of dedicated exhibition space for both solo and mixed group shows. This has proved to be an exciting venture, with several successful artist solo exhibitions behind it and now a regular line up of events throughout the year.

Visitors can also view the online gallery www.arteology.co.uk where over thirty professional, semi professional and emerging artists provide an excellent contrast of unique styles and inspirational ideas at affordable prices. Customers can keep up to date by joining the mailing list or viewing the events pages and any enquiries can be made via the contact page.

**** picture framing @ arteology **** has always been an important area of the business, expertly prepared and finished here in the busy workshops to conservation standards as set out by The Fine Art Trade Guild. Membership of The Fine Art Trade Guild ensures that customers receive the highest quality working standards and materials used to meet their picture framing needs.

The gallery frame original artwork; signed edition prints; sports shirts; programmes and memorabilia; family treasures including wedding photos and signature mounts; graduation photos and certificates; baby shoes and special clothing outfits. Also stretching large scale artists canvases, tapestries, x stitch and original textile work. You can see many examples of the work by visiting the picture framing pages on the website.

arteology is a friendly independent, family run business welcoming all visitors, whether you want to browse or buy in a relaxing atmosphere to select or create a beautiful piece of artwork for your home, business or office space.

Open Tuesday to Friday – 9:30 – 17:00 and Saturday – 9:30 – 16:00
