Peter Scott Gallery

Just three miles from Lancaster city centre, Peter Scott Gallery is surrounded by a beautiful 560-acre parkland at the Lancaster University campus.

Peter Scott Gallery houses a growing collection that features art by 20th Century British and European artists and a significant collection of ceramics made at the famous Lancastrian Pilkington’s Tile & Pottery Company. The collection is frequently featured in temporary exhibitions as part of the Lancaster Arts programme which includes theatre, dance and music and provides a rich context for the gallery and a chance for visitors to experience themes through new artistic perspectives. Peter Scott Gallery regularly commissions and exhibits contemporary artists so visitors will always find something new and often unexpected!

Visitors can enjoy the cafes, woodland walks and outdoor sculpture dotted across the site.
