Lancaster Brewery

Set in over 2 acres, the working brewery offers guided tours, special events in the bar and entertaining area, as well as brewing their delicious beer, lager and cider on site.

For an extra charge, visitors are treated to a lively and entertaining guided tour and can indulge themselves with a delicious selection of local pies, and of course generous tastings of the famous local brew.

Starting in the impressive visitors centre, the history of the brewery and the brewing process is explained. There’s an opportunity to see the hops growing outside, as well as being able to purchase any of the beers to take home!

Tours available:
*Daily Amber Tour with tasters – please call ahead to confirm availability.
A 45 minute tour of the Brewery with 5 samples at the bar to follow.

*Blonde Tour – please book ahead to confirm availability.
A 45 minute tour of the Brewery with a Brewers snack and drinks included. Before or after your tour enjoy a handmade pork pie and pickles with up to 3 pints of your choice from the selection on the bar.

*Premium Red Tour – must be pre-booked.
A 45 minute tour of the Brewery with lunch and drinks included. Before or after your tour enjoy a handmade pie from our local supplier, all the recipes include one of our ales, with peas and gravy plus up to 4 pints of your choice from the selection on the bar. You'll also receive a 10% discount on any purchases from their shop.

Directions

Road Directions

From M6 J33 & J34 go into the town and when you get to the Pointer Roundabout (Lancaster’s only Roundabout next to the RLI Hospital) head east up the hill on Bowerham Road. Left at the top of the hill in Bowerham at the mini onto Coulston Road. Take the 2nd right sweeping down the hill onto Wyresdale Road. Past the Auction Market and turn right into Lancaster Leisure Park. Alternatively follow the tourist brown signs to Williamson Park and the Leisure Park. Another option is to put LA1 3LA into your satnav and let the computer worry about which way! See you there.

Public Transport Directions

Bus number 18 from Lancaster bus station will drop you off at the end on the drive to the park. Alternatively, take the 8C bus to Williamson Park and walk down the hill.

Home to GB Antiques Centre, the biggest indoor antiques and furniture centre in the country, The Original Factory Shop and The Timeless Tearoom, which serves a varied menu of homemade refreshments and light meals every day.

    New to the Park is the fantastic Lancaster Brewery and Visitors Centre (guided tours and sampling available daily) and the impressive Country Style Meats Farm Shop.
