Chester Cathedral Falconry

The beautiful cathedral gardens play host to one of the most amazing aerial displays imaginable. This family friendly attraction offers the chance to see some of the most spectacular birds of prey, right up close, in the heart of the city and learn all about birds, reptiles, bugs and more.

Owls, falcons, hawks and one incredibly mischievous vulture called Tinks, call the falconry home. Expert falconers are on hand to talk about any aspect of the birds and their habitats.

From daily flying displays to children’s nature trails and a look at the other wildlife in the centre, there is plenty to keep all of the family entertained.
