Bowland Brewery - Brewery Tours

Their Ales Of Outstanding Natural Beauty are brewed right underneath the chimney at Holmes Mill – just behind their famous Beer Hall – where a dedicated team of artisan brewers craft a collection of cask beers inspired by the outstandingly beautiful landscape of Bowland.

Bowland Brewery started life as a microbrewery on the edge of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making a selection of beers named after the scenery and wildlife of this picturesque corner of Lancashire.

Beers like Hen Harrier, Boxer Blonde and Pheasant Plucker have quickly established themselves among local ale aficionados – earning the brewery a string of awards.

As the reputation of Bowland Brewery cask and bottled beers spreads, increasing demand from further afield required a relocation to larger premises at Holmes Mill, where visitors are welcome to tour the brewery and sample our ales in the fabulous surroundings of the Bowland Beer Hall.

Brewery Tours

At Bowland Brewery they’re passionate about what they do and love to share their enthusiasm.

Scheduled brewery tours run on Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays at 3.00pm.

They can also arrange tours for groups of 15 or more at other times by prior arrangement. Please note that all booking are required a minimum of 48 hours prior to the tour.
