Wyreside Lakes Fishery & Campsite

A family run business situated in over 120 acres of farmland at the foot of the Bowland Fells in Dolphinholme, Lancashire. Ideally located a short drive away from beautiful northern towns of Morecambe, Lancaster, Blackpool, Windermere, Clitheroe and Hawes and just off junction 33 of the M6 motorway.

Wyreside Lakes comprises of 6 fishing lakes with a mixture of carp, pike and coarse fish and a campsite with a full range of superb facilities for overnight stays including hard standing pitches, camping pods and lush green fields to camp on.

On site you will find a licensed bar and a restaurant serving a good selection of food and a takeaway menu for those who wish to eat in the comfort of their tent, caravan or camping pod. Please note - The restaurant serves food every weekend and they have a takeaway service morning and night 7 days a week from March till October. There is also a newly relocated site camping and tackle shop, laundry room (hairdryer and Iron) and a modern toilet & shower block where showers are free of charge.

For the children there is a safe outdoor play area with swings, games room and lots of wildlife and a wood to investigate. Every Saturday between April and October they have a children's fishing club on River Lake- Held by one of their fishery team. This is a two hour session and teaches children the basics of fishing and fish care.

All throughout the year there are various events held each week, from Karaoke /discos to themed nights and live entertainment – you can find the entertainment schedule on their website.

The estate is open 7 days a week and is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day annually.

Not all pitches (tent and caravan) are level -some are sloping. The top field has a steeper gradient than the lower field. The campsite is open from February the 8th until January 3nd annually. However the fields may not be accessible during severe wet weather conditions. Please telephone 01524 792093 for further information or peruse their website for terms and conditions.
