Throstle Hall Cottage snuggles under the 'Big End' of Pendle Hill in the beautiful Ribble Valley away from traffic noise, light pollution and civilization. There are few properties with such a superb outlook over the Ribble Valley and Yorkshire Dales. Pen-Y-Ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside, as well as the Trough and Forest of Bowland are all in view on a clear day.
The fully renovated cottage sleeps up to eight in four bedrooms. From dereliction in 2007/8, the cottage is an 'upside down' house and offers some surprises. The living space is perfect for get togethers, chatting, playing good old fashioned board games, grabbing a book and sitting on the mezzanine snuggled on the sofa, or just sitting on the doorstep enjoying peace and quiet. The open plan kitchen is large enough for helping hands and the dining area calls you to linger over coffee or a glass or two, enjoying the views all around.
Accessed via a private track with parking for up to four vehicles. A terraced grassy area and paved patio area are perfect for enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings. Wildflowers and wildlife abound in the 15 acres of private farmland and fabulous walks and cycle rides that start from the door.
