School House Cottage

Family run Grade II English country holiday cottage situated in the delightful village of Newton-in-Bowland, at the foot of Waddington Fell and in the heart of the Forest of Bowland, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

A short drive from Lancaster, Manchester, Leeds, Skipton, Settle and easy access from the nearby M6 (18 miles) to the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District.

School House Cottage has been lovingly restored to the highest standard to make your self catering holiday, vacation rental, or UK short break truly relaxing and memorable.

Amenities consist of: - comfortable lounge with wood burning stove, sofa and an arm chair.  A flat screen TV, DVD player, selection of DVDs and games. 

Leading to: - a new fully integrated kitchen with a top of the range Neff Oven, Neff Induction Hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, microwave, Krups Nespresso Coffee Machine with dining for up to 3 people. 

Upstairs are two bedrooms: - one is a double bedroom with a super king size bed which on request can be made into 2 single beds.  Luxury bedlinen and bespoke wardrobe and chest of draws.

The other is a single bedroom and has a lovely metal single bed with crystal ball bedhead and again luxury bedlinen.

The shower room is newly fitted out with a shower, washbasin, toilet and a heated towel rail.  Luxury towels are provided.  Molton Brown Shower Gel and top quality shampoo and conditioner are provided for you to use.   

The rear of the cottage has a private courtyard with table and chairs to admire the views.

All power and electricity is included in the price so there are no hidden charges.

Smoking is not allowed either inside the cottage or in the garden.

Extras are available such as a Welcome Breakfast Pack, Gluten Free Breakfast Pack, Celebration Pack or cheese board.
