Middle Beardshaw Farm

A lovingly restored period farmhouse and camping barn with enhanced exposed beams, parquet floors and lovely antique furniture originally established during the 13th century as a 'vaccary' by the king of the time, set in beautiful surroundings of 15 acres of pastures, woods, streams and pools in the beautiful idyllic countryside of Trawden.

Accommodation available includes:
Bed and breakfast in the farmhouse. There is a family room with a four poster bed and bunk beds that sleeps 4 and a single room. Rooms are en-suite and have colour TV's and tea/coffee making facilities. Washing/drying facilities, hairdryer and telephone are available on request.

Camping barn with a sleeping gallery for up to 20 guests. There are 6 bunks and a bed plus mattresses are provided, a sitting area with a wood-burning stove (fuel can be purchased at the barn), TV, attached conservatory housing a seating area and games room, toilets and hot showers are located next door,. A fully-equipped kitchen with gas rings, microwave and another toilet with shower is located 23 yards away. In summer meals can be enjoyed in the attached conservatory or in the outdoor barbecue area.   

Camping for tents and camper vans. There is a small camping field available with 3 hard standing pitches for camper vans and space for up to 10 tents and activities with two toilet blocks.

Road Directions

To Colne, continue in the direction to Keighly. Turn off to Trawden and to village church. Direction Hebden Bridge for 1/2 mile, bad bend, then 3rd gate on right - approx 200 yards.

Public Transport Directions

Trains arrive at Colne station from Preston.No 21 bus from Colne to Trawden or other Pendle bus services.
