Applecroft is a cosy well appointed log holiday cottage in the peaceful, country village of Mawdesley, Lancashire.
Applecroft offers all the amenities needed for an enjoyable and relaxing self catering holiday including a comfortable lounge area, kitchen with dining area, two spacious bedrooms which sleep four adults (one with king-size bed, one with twin beds) and wet room with rain shower. A covered verandah with outdoor furniture over looks the garden and meadow.
If you want to relax, get some fresh air and escape the bustle of modern living you can unwind on the covered verandah and take in the pretty views over our farm's oldest meadow. A stroll around the local areas of Mawdesley, Eccleston and Croston will reveal pleasant rural footpaths, friendly country pubs, charming tea rooms and shops.
A short car or train journey opens up a wealth of natural and historical attractions. Visit the traditional Victorian seaside town of Southport and the galleries and museums of Liverpool and Manchester. Explore the rivers and moors of the Ribble Valley and Rivington or spot the red quirrels and migrating birds of Formby and WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre.
Whether you're after a relaxing break - or a week full of exploration - Applecroft Cottage is ideal.
