Located in the heart of the Bronte’s Yorkshire Dales, Hipping Hall, Cowan Bridge, is without doubt the perfect setting for any couple’s wedding day.
This 17th century country house, nestling at the foot of Gragareth, the highest point in Lancashire, is surrounded by 12 acres of beautiful gardens, with formal lawns, walled garden, dappled woodland and tranquil ponds and the gently meandering stream of Broken Beck running through the grounds, a truly unique place to celebrate your special day.
Hipping Hall’s intimate setting lends itself to exclusive use wedding celebrations. We have a selection of intimate wedding venues at Hipping, from our beautifully 15th century Great Hall, with its inspired contemporary design flourishes and wealth of original features, including a large open fire, original oak beams and minstrel’s gallery offers a perfectly formed setting for your big day.
Our maximum numbers are 42 in the Great Hall for the ceremony and wedding breakfast and up to 80 for the evening.
Hipping Hall accommodates up to 30 overnight guests on an exclusive use basis in our 15 beautifully appointed rooms.
There is also the intimate setting of the Old Stables, which is ideally suited for renewing your vows or second ceremonies with close family and friends. This venue has a light and airy feel, with its open fire place, high ceilings and views overlooking landscaped gardens and ponds.
The Old Stables accommodates up to 10 overnight guests on an exclusive use basis in our 5 beautifully appointed rooms.
Whether you choose to have a grand ceremony or an intimate celebration you can rest assured that our award-winning Chefs will be on hand to create the perfect seasonal menu just for you, using only the finest of ingredients from the North of England’s bountiful larder – perfect for wowing your guests taste buds. Not only that our restaurant team will be only too pleased to recommend appropriate wines to match your bespoke menu - so everything will be just right.
