Frederick's Ice Cream - Massa's

Tucked away in a cosy corner of Chorley town centre is the newly refurbished Massa’s Dessert–Café–Bar. A favourite with town centre shoppers, Massa’s is a little slice of magic. The chic new interior with its modern cage lightshades and filament bulbs sets a gorgeous ambience for visitors. New booth seating and stone tiling with wooden flooring makes this little café-bar really stands out in the town centre.

It’s all about quality. From the interior décor through to the sourcing of the best local ingredients and the high standards of delicious home-cooked foods, you can’t go wrong at Massa’s.

The simplified and revised Food Menu offers a wonderful choice of handmade pizzas made with fresh pizza dough, as well as a selection of fresh bread baguettes and sandwiches. They offer ample sized portions of salads, as well as jacket potatoes and breakfast favourites likes crumpets, toast and pastries all made fresh to order.

And we’ve not even mentioned all the fantastic desserts on offer yet! Satisfy your sweet tooth with a selection of freshly made crepes and waffles – the decadent toppings will tantalise your tastebuds! Or try one of the fresh cakes and cookies on offer every day. And as Massa’s is part of the Frederick’s family of ice cream parlours, you must try some of the award-winning ice creams on display in a cone, a super sundae or even in their incredibly thick and creamy milkshakes!

Massa’s has been granted a licence to serve alcohol and you will not be disappointed with the selection of quality wines and spirits on offer. Gin & Cake is a favourite of regulars or why not choose from one of the many great wines on offer.

The café-bar on Cunliffe Street, Chorley, offers a corporate service too. They cater for business lunches either at customers’ offices or they provide the space for small business lunches and meetings in the café.

And if you subscribe to social media, Massa’s regularly hosts small intimate open-mic nights for local musicians and spoken-word events. They promote these through their Facebook page.

As the oldest ice cream parlour and café in Chorley, Massa’s proudly supports many local small business events such as Totally Locally. They are involved in promoting and sharing local events as a stalwart of the community.

Massa’s – the original and still the best!
