Barley Mow

Situated at the foot of Pendle Hill, the Barley Mow is a pub that serves cracking food and great beer.

With a hunt lodge style interior, open fires and cosy corners create a welcoming atmosphere, ideal for family meals or drinks with friends. A covered outdoor area makes the Barley Mow the perfect location to refuel and rehydrate after a day exploring the Pendle countryside.

Executive chef Antony Shirley has developed a proper pub food menu of hearty dishes which are influenced by cuisine from across America and Europe. The menu focuses on grazing food and on-trend dishes, from sandwiches, burgers and salads to curries, tacos and stews. To complement the food menu, is a wide range of cask ales, world beers and award winning wines.

From walking to mountain biking, skiing on a dry ski slope to paragliding, the Pendle countryside offers a wide range of activities for everyone. If you want to stay over after a day spent discovering Pendle witch territory, we have six on-site bedrooms available with flat screen TVs and free Wi-Fi.
