Summer Workshop: Filmmaking (Amazing Animals Theme) Ages 7 - Lowther Pavilion & Gardens

Join us for a fun, hands-on day exploring the world of filmmaking. Led by a professional artist, this one-day workshop invites young creatives to discover how stories can be brought to life on screen.

No experience required, but participants will have plenty of opportunities to try new ideas, work together, and get creative in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Your child can be a part of each step and process of creating film with the guidance of our professional scriptwriter, director and producer. Our theme will be based around Amazing Animals, and the children can prepare and create their own pieces using story boards and interactive activities to build their confidence and ideas.

They will physically get to use and hold the equipment so that they can prepare a viewing of the finished films to share with you, our special guests, at 4:30 in the theatre. They will have their own work shown on the big screen the very same day!
