Amidst the fast-changing situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, we want to keep all Lancashire visitors, past, present and future, as up to date as possible. Our number one priority is the health and wellbeing of all our visitors, staff and colleagues.

The government has now (23rd March) put a ban on the public against unnecessary travel and non-essential contact. Now all tourist attractions, restaurants, bars, museums, non-essential shops, libraries, gallaries, spas, leisure centres and hotels have now closed.

The PM has also put ban on public gatherings of more than two people. So please take it that ALL third party events listed within our 'Whats on' page are no longer going ahead. If they are due to commence later in the year, please get in touch with the organiser directly to confirm this.

Many of our parks remain open, where you can go to alone or with members of your household. Please check directly as ALL National Trust parks have closed.

If you don't follow these strict guidelines, police and local authorities will have powers to disperse gatherings, including through fines. We would urge everyone to follow all advice at this time and put health and safety first above everything else.

Stay safe.
