Well-established, family-run hotel situated on the seafront, Central Promenade and with spectacular views of the Bay and Lakeland Hills.
The Auckland Hotel is within easy reach of all the main amenities and shops. The newly refurbished Promenade offers an interesting level walk around the Bay with its much-acclaimed Eric Morecambe Statue, Tern Project and Stone Jetty. Neighbouring historic Lancaster offers a good shopping centre and places of interest. The Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Blackpool and Fylde Coast, Kendal, Kirkby Lonsdale etc are all accessible.
All of the 54 rooms are comfortably appointed with en-suite facilities, colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities and central heating. There is a lift to the two main floors and all public rooms are on the ground floor. There is also ramped access both front and rear of the hotel and two car parks at the rear of the hotel accommodating around 14 cars.
The dining room offers a varied menu and is backed by home cooking. The bar supplies a wide range of beverages and entertainment is provided most nights.
