- Blackpool Illuminations
  
  (31 Aug - 4 Nov 2011) Blackpool Illuminations are considered to be the greatest free light show on earth, which entertains millions of visitors between September and November time each year.
- Preston Guild 2012
  
  Preston Guild is a historic celebration dating back to 1179, and represents the North West’s rich cultural heritage. Preston is home to a massive amount of creative talent. The Guild 2012 will be a unique opportunity to capture and showcase these talents.
