Festive fun is going to be the name of the game at Brockholes this Christmas, with Father Christmas and his reindeer popping by to say hello.
They will be appearing as part of the Brockholes Christmas Festival, which will be taking place at the Lancashire Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve on the weekend of December 22 & 23. Father Christmas and his reindeer will be present on both days and children can experience the magic of meeting Santa, as well as receiving a gift and having their photo taken with him (11am-3pm, £4.95). In addition, children can meet two of his reindeer and have the chance to have their photo taken in Santa’s sleigh with the reindeer (£1 per photo).
In addition to Father Christmas and the reindeer, the festival will play host to a variety of other festive themed events, including card making, children’s Christmas stories and wreath making, while there will also be live music by Songsmith and The Red Rose Band.
The Festival is not the only ‘Christmas Cracker’ at Brockholes this festive season though, as there are all sorts of activities and events suitable for people of all ages going on throughout the month.
