Bygone Times

Lancashire's finest historic shopping and visitor destination.

Bygone Times is a 17th Century converted cotton mill, home to over 500 stalls full of antiques, collectables, homeware, jewellery, furniture, and so much more.  Open to the public for over 35 years, taking pride in the rich history and culture.

For a unique shopping experience, look no further than the Bygone Times.  From vintage clothing and antique furniture, to collectable artwork and wartime memorabilia from yesteryear, Bygone Times has some of the finest items around to compliment any home or collection.

Be sure to visit the war museum and delve into the conflicts of WWI, WWII and the events involving the British and Commonwealth service men and women.  The exhibition includes aviation relics, WWII uniforms (army, navy and air force), 1940s home front, medal plaques and battle relics.  There is even a WWII trench.

Step into Bygone Times' penny arcade, which houses an exciting range of classic gaming machinery from yesteryear.  Some of the working machines are over a century old and can still be played by visitors using real Victorian pennies.  A fantastic novelty for players of all ages.
