600 HP Cross Compound Engine

Steaming Days take place at Bancroft Mill on a regular basis throughout the year.

An old Cotton Mill built in the 1900's now houses a 600 HP cross compound engine and there are plans to rehouse a tandem steam engine from a local Craven mill which was in danger of being scrapped.

There is a tea room with delicious home made refreshments available, along with a range of original souvenirs and tea towels woven on our own loom.
