Visit Lancashire at any time of year and you’ll likely stumble upon one of the myriad food events that take place to celebrate our quality local produce. From food festivals, like the Lancashire Food Festival in Accrington every April and the Pennine Lancashire Festival of Food and Culture, which takes place every year from mid-August to mid-September, to Picnic Month, which is held every May, there’s always a food event going on. Don’t miss the post-harvest Producers Month, in October or the week-long Garstang and Bowland Food Festival at the end of October. And don’t get us started on the Christmas markets!
