Visit the moving sites of Auschwitz and Birkenau, the largest of the Nazi concentration and extermination camps. Travel down into the salt mines to see the splendid carvings and the 'salt cathedral'.

At M6 Junc. 31a – follow signs for the B6242 (B6243) to Longridge. At the third roundabout, turn left for Longridge (B6243). Drive through Grimsargh. After the village, you pass a Church and a school on the right. About 200 metres on from the Church there is a cottage on the right. Turn right down the lane and right at the T-junction sign posted Alston Hall. If you miss this turning, there is another just after the White Bull Pub further along the B6243. Alston Hall is one mile on the right.
