This new venture at Alston Hall will be an evening's introduction to the world of wine, featuring several wines for you to taste, accompanied by a selection of foods.
Christopher Rodwell will guide you through some of the main grape varieties used in both old-world and new-world wines, as well as some of the basics about how wine is made. fee includes the tasting of six wines. (Canapes, finger food and desserts will complement the wine selection).

At M6 Junc. 31a – follow signs for the B6242 (B6243) to Longridge. At the third roundabout, turn left for Longridge (B6243). Drive through Grimsargh. After the village, you pass a Church and a school on the right. About 200 metres on from the Church there is a cottage on the right. Turn right down the lane and right at the T-junction sign posted Alston Hall. If you miss this turning, there is another just after the White Bull Pub further along the B6243. Alston Hall is one mile on the right.
