Warton Crag is a prominent limestone hill on the southern edge of the Arnside/Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The extraordinary diversity of natural habitat and the relatively mild climate makes the area rich in wildlife and many rare species of plants and animals are found here. Leave M6 jct 35 and follow signs for Carnforth. Pass through Carnforth and follow signs for Warton and in the village turn left at the Black Bull Inn onto Crag Road and car parks can be found approximately 100m and 600m further on.
