Backridge Farm

Backridge Farm is a rather rare and magical place. Hard hit by the 2001 foot and mouth crisis, it managed to remain a working farm, but also now ouses some more unusual inhabitants. Many of the old barns and stables are now hoome to some special and unique businesses, which are open to the public. There is an artist's studios, a beauty and holistic therapist, 'Big Whistle'- specialists in Irish whistle and Celtic related items, candle makers, children's play frames and garden furniture, fine furniture makers and designers, a hair salon, interior designers, a traditional wooden toy shop - and a fabulous food hall.
