Visitor centre with disabled facilities and tapes for partially sighted available. This is a Green Flag Award park and has a varied interest for all the family.

Follow the A59 from the centre of Preston to Liverpool/Southport, through Longton Village. The reserve is is on the left leaving the village on the A59, Liverpool Road.
Ribble Stagecoach buses from Preston, Merseybus X57 on the Southport to Blackpool and Ormskirk route 3 times daily.
