This event is in association with Lancashire Reads, inviting everyone in the County to read 'The Spooks Apprentice' by Josepf Delaney - a book already championed by many young readers in Lancashire.
Set in Lancashire, the book is based on the folklore and legends of the County and resonates with the sights and sounds that contribute to our sense of place - Lancashire.

From M65 Junction 8, follow the signs to Padiham town centre, then travel out of Padiham towards Burnley. Gawthorpe Hall is on the main Padiham to Burnley road, on the left hand side.

The Burnley & Pendle Mainline Bus stops at the end of the driveway to the Hall on Burnley Road/Victoria Road, Padiham (from Burnley Bus Station).
