Leyland

Leyland is a town in South Ribble, located 6 miles south of Preston and within minutes of the major motorway networks. Leyland is one of the Borough's thriving centres offering a good mix of services and local amenities. Call in at the nearby South Ribble Museum and Exhibition Centre or the British Commercial Vehicle Museum with steam wagons to present day transport. Close to Leyland are historic Worden Park and Worden Arts and Crafts Centre. Worden Park is one of only five parks in the whole of England and Wales to receive a green flag every year since the award scheme was introduced, it provides a combination of historic natural landscape and varied wildlife, together with an impressive and attractive range of facilities.
