Congratulations to Pendle as they win 11 awards at Lancashire's Best Kept Village Competition 2007

Villages across Lancashire are celebrating after scooping awards in the Best Kept Village Competition 2007.

Pendle won a whole stack of "best kept" awards at Lancashire's Best Kept Village Competition 2007 which, as you can imagine, they are extremely proud of.

Roughlee in Pendle took the top prize in this year's competition and were crowned Champion Village. Blacko also won four of the awards and Newchurch picked up three.
