BBC Radio 2 and Visit Blackpool have announced the exciting line up for this year's fantastic free Illuminations Switch On Concert.
Heading to Blackpool to join the stars of BBC's Top Gear on Friday 29 August, is an electrifying live line up including:
Fresh from their reunion tour of the UK, the original Irish boyband Boyzone will be treating the crowds to some of their most famous singles.
Another UK band joining the line up have often proclaimed 'I need a Holiday', so a trip to Blackpool's famous Illuminations could be just the thing Scouting for Girls need after a busy festival season.
As the 'Sun Goes Down' on the BBC Radio 2 Arena, sensational singer-songwriter David Jordan will be stepping up to the mic to perform songs from his debut album 'Set the Mood'.
BBC Radio 2 presenter Janice Long will be presenting this special broadcast which will go out live on air between 8.30pm and 9.30pm.

"I am looking forward to another Switch On. This year's line-up promises a great evening of entertainment for BBC Radio 2 listeners and all the people joining the celebrations."
Early evening entertainment at the Radio 2 Arena will be provided from around 6pm by Manchester Pop Idol Sarah Whatmore, exciting new London 5-piece band Mama's Gunand a favourite with the Blackpool crowd, boyband Billium. North Pier's very own Joey Blower will once again take the reins for the early evening show.

"There has been a great deal of interest in the Switch On, thanks to the early announcement that the Top Gear team will be doing the honours this year.
"The Illuminations are a very important asset to the resort, and we are pleased to announce such an exciting and eclectic line up for what will be a great start to the 2008 Illuminations season."
The Big Switch On will take place at around 9.25pm during the live BBC Radio 2 show, and visitors will be able to view the fantastic 2008 Illuminations, featuring brand new designs 'LocalHeads' by Andy McKeown and 'Venus Reborn' by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, until approximately 1am on Saturday morning.
The Illuminations will then shine for 66 consecutive nights until Sunday 2 November.
