Museum of local history and general interest, housed in a former mill owner’s residence, built in 1840 for the Hardman family. Capture the atmosphere of the period in the Victorian drawing room, marvel at the Tiger and Python in the natural history display, and learn about Rossendale’s past in this compact museum, situated in the expanse of Whitaker Park. A programme of temporary exhibitions is held throughout the year.
