Brand new, fully refurbished bed & breakfast is now available at the Red Lion. All rooms have en suite facilities, set in the heart of Whitworth Square and dating back to 1674, the Red Lion has all the charm and character you would expect from such an historic building. Your hosts, Steve and Jane Butterworth, have run pubs in the valley for over 10 years, and this, the Red Lion, is the 3rd pub they have taken on.
The Red Lion serves meals 7-days a week, and you will always find a selection of “real ales” on tap – We are mentioned in the good pub guide and represented by Camra.
Breakfast is served at your convenience so no early get ups unless you require! Breakfast includes cereals, toast and the traditional 'Full English' plus tea coffee and juice.
