The Saetr Cottage originated as a small barn attached to the end of the ‘Old Farmhouse’ central to the hamlet of Harrop Fold. The ground floor has a gallery kitchen with a full sized oven, fridge/freezer and microwave oven. It opens out into a relaxing area with a dining table and chairs, two comfy armchairs and a colour television. The Saetr Cottage is heated with storage heaters and electric coal-effect fire. The Saetr is set in Lovely Gardens, which are available, for visitors shared use and surrounded by acres of pasture land with delightful walks.

Exit J31, M6, follow A59 towards Clitheroe. Exit A59 at signpost to Sawley, Grindleton, Bolton-by-Bowland. Bear left at Spread Eagle Hotel. Turn right after crossing the Ribble following road to Bolton-By-Bowland. Prior to village you will come to Copy Nook, turn left by side of the pub following Holding & Slaidburn. Signpost in Holden shows Harrop Fold 3m left. Follow road to Lane Ends, further signpost to Harrop Fold to the left. Follow road, first turn right is the road into Harrop Fold.
