Thrill seekers should also head for Camelot Theme Park near Chorley to experience the new ride.'Knightmare', a family thrill rollercoaster full of twists and turns that lasts about two minutes, is one of the world's longest rollercoasters and will be open from late spring.As well as rides for all ages,the theme park offers visitors a chance to brush up their magic skills at 'Merlin's School of Wizardry' and join in the fun and excitement at the twice daily Jousting Tournament.

Dominating the skyline of the market town of Clitheroe, the Norman castle keep of Clitheroe was built around 1186 by Robert de Lacy to protect the administrative centre of his vast estates.
