Food and Drink > Where to Eat and Drink in Lancashire > Chicory Restaurant
Created by Gary Cartwright, Bevan Middleton, Felix Santoni and Richard Martin Chicory opened it's doors on fashionable Henry Street on Good Friday 2002 and with it's ochre facade is now an unmissable land mark. The contemporary look extends throughout the interior which is comfortable and cosy.
Food is an exciting combination of classic and contemporary cuisine from all points of the globe which you can see being created through the open kitchen. A good selection of fresh fish is available every day and even the chutneys, breads and ice creams are made in house. Chicory prides itself on sourcing only the best ingredients with a strong emphasis on local products.
As well as the extensive evening and lunch Ala carte menus there is also daily specials and a three course Table D'Hote menu at £18.95 available Sunday to Thursday evening and Sunday lunchtime. The A la Carte menus are changed seasonally but the Table D'Hote is changed every week. Chicory's wine list offers a choice of over 70 different wines from 13 different countries- plus a more than decent selection of halves, plenty of wines by the glass, monthly specials and a private cellar for those looking for something a little special.
We recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment,
