Black Bull

A pub since 1610, this low ceilinged stone building boasts some magnificentoask beams. Older village residents know the pub as "Ell Ob" a reference to a coal fired cooking range. Certificates on display reacord the pubs success in Lancashire's Best kept village competition, and it as also won awards for its numerous hanging baskets.
