Aspinall Arms

Despite the imposing new pub sign sponsored by Copper Dragon, this pub remains a free house. Parts of it date back to the 17th century, when a ferry crossed the River Ribble. Three handpumps feature beers from a range of breweries from Wychwood and Salmander to Bowland and Pheonix. Food is good value, with a choice of vegetarian options available. Live music is hosted on the second Thursday of the month, quiz night on alternate Tuesdays.
