‘Owd Nell’s Pressed English Cider Festival

Owd Nell’s Tavern are hosting the North West’s only Pressed Cider Festival is being held at Guy’s Thatched Hamlet, on Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd August 2008. The festival is being held in conjunction with Thatcher’s Cider.

‘Owd Nell’s Canalside Cider Press Bar – will be open all weekend for the festival with cask cider tasting & lots more…

Friday 1st August – Live Rock Music on the canalside from 9pm – with DJ Darrell Edwards, BBQ etc..

Saturday 2nd August – Half Barrel Traditional Cider Dip, Live Music, DJ Darrell Edwards, Morris dancers, Jelly Clodding, Apple Bobbing etc…

Sunday 3rd August – Fun Day – with something for all the family!!! Farmers Market & Craft Fair from 10am – 6pm– in conjunction with Vine House Cancer Care, Everything you find on sale is produced within the local area, and our stallholders are the farmers, growers or producers themselves.

All products sold have been grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholders. To find out more come along to the market! Scarecrow Competition – fantastic prizes for the best ones!!!
