Stylishly furnished and beautifully appointed, these lovingly converted stone-built farm buildings are set on a working organic farm within The Forest of Bowland – designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Whether you are looking for an action–packed week or a relaxing and restful few days we aim to provide the perfect holiday experience.
In the summer you’ll want to make the most of the outdoor seating and barbecue whilst listening to the babbling brook, or spend time picking your own vegetables for dinner from our organic veg patch.
In the winter you could make your way to one of the local pubs and find a cosy spot next to a roaring fire, or you could stay in and curl up with a good book in front of a wood-burning stove.
We provide a welcome hamper stocked with local produce including organic Lancashire cheese, Bowland milk and tea bread made on the farm. Jam and chutney made from fruit picked from our orchard are included as well as the essentials – fair trade tea and coffee.
To make your stay even more relaxing, why not pre order one of our seasonal ready meals and have it waiting in the fridge for you when you arrive. Made from fresh, locally sourced produce as well as our own farm produce we provide a seasonal menu of main meals, vegetable accompaniments and puddings. Or order a Lancashire Breakfast hamper and start the day with glorious fresh country air and a wholesome English breakfast!
There are three properties to choose from: The Coach House – this Grade II listed building retains much of its original character, and has its own private drive and seating area adjoining the farmhouse orchard. Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms – 1 double and 1 twin.
Woodcutter’s Cottage – the oldest established cottage dating back to the 16th century, with traditional wood burning stove and private decking area overlooking the stream and fields beyond.
Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms – 1 double and 1 twin. Saddle Barn – more contemporary but retaining its natural country style charm. Flat screen, wall-mounted TV/DVD, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. French doors leading to a private patio area overlooking fields and the stream.
