The cottages are an ideal base to discover the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Beauty, where conservation and sustainable tourism are high priority. Open all year round, ground floor accommodation is available, accredited with grade 2 mobility access. Abundent wildlife - especially Brown Hare Excellent birdwatching - Award winning lapwing site. Wonderful walks - gentle or challenging available from your door. ***There is an extra cottage, The Fern Room (capacity 2), can only be booked with another cottage. The Fern Room (capacity 2) is linked to the Hare House (capacity 6). The Fern Room is a large ground-floor bedroom with wetroom. If not taken with Hare House the connecting door can be locked and it can be used as extra accommodation for Brook House or Garden Cottage - Mobility 2 rated. *** Prices for the Fern Room as an extra range from £130 to £180.

You will stay on a farm managed for wildlife in accommodation designed for sustainable tourism, featuring wood pellet central heating. We work closely with the RSPB, and other conservation organisations to maintain and improve wildlife habitats on our land. In particular we are working to increase wading bird and brown hare populations and to enhance biodiversity.'
